Tonsina Point Sea Kayaking Trip
5★ (13 reviews)
13 reviews at 5.0★ — nearly half the published experience on this page.
Short answer: five guided paddles leave Seward and they carry 29 reviews between all five. The most-reviewed one is also nearly the cheapest — $123 for a 3.5-hour paddle to Tonsina Point at 5.0★ from 13 reviews. The $169–226 trips are full days that bolt an Exit Glacier hike onto the paddle. Every price here is what the checkout asked, per person at the minimum party the operator accepts.

Everything here stays inside Resurrection Bay or on a lake — this is not the open-Gulf water the park cruises cross. Tonsina Point and Bridal Veil Falls are bay destinations; Bear Lake is flat fresh water and is sold as the family option. Season runs May–September.

Tonsina Point at $123 if you want the one people have actually paddled — 5.0★ from 13 reviews, 3.5 hours, and hotel pickup is in the listing. Bear Lake at $113 if you want flat water and a family-friendly pace.
These are guided trips on protected water — Resurrection Bay or a lake, not the open Gulf the park cruises cross. The listings sell them as beginner-friendly; the Bear Lake one is explicitly the family option.
Mostly land time. The $169 and $226 trips combine the same bay paddle with an Exit Glacier hike. If you want more time in the boat rather than a second activity, the short trips are the better buy.
$113 to $226 as advertised. That is $32 to $37 an hour on the short trips and $28 an hour on the longest combo — the cheapest water time in town.
Unverified. We ran the seven Kenai Fjords cruises through booking and published what the till asked; three rang up above their ad. We have not repeated that test on the kayak trips.
Seward demand is concentrated in boats — five cruises hold 90% of every review in town. Kayaking is a small operation by comparison: five listings, 29 reviews, and none of them above twelve.
Not a tidewater one from the bay. The combos walk you to Exit Glacier on foot; the tidewater glaciers of Kenai Fjords are a boat ride away, past the mouth of the bay.
